Role Description:
Deutsche Bank’s Risk division plays a crucial role in protecting the Bank by managing and controlling credit, market, operational, and reputational risks. As part of the Risk transformation journey, the Global Credit Analytics Function (GCAF) is looking for skilled analysts to handle credit documentation. This internship offers a unique opportunity to work on credit analysis of corporate and institutional counterparties and contribute to the Bank’s risk management strategy.

Your Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct accurate credit analysis of counterparties (corporates and FIs) based on business and financial risk assessment.
- Prepare cash flow models/forecasts and peer analysis for rating reports and credit reviews.
- Actively participate in live trades with credit officers, providing recommendations and completing credit write-ups.
- Monitor and assess assigned international portfolios, analyzing rating changes and market/industry developments.
- Understand banking products, including Trade Finance and Derivatives, and support credit documentation.
- Monitor limits/exposure and update relevant credit data in the system.
- Manage your own credit portfolio and provide recommendations to senior decision-makers.
- Interface with credit officers and stakeholders to ensure a complete understanding of the Bank’s exposure.
Your Skills and Experience:
- Relevant professional qualifications such as MSc/MA/MBA/CA/CFA, etc.
- Relevant work experience in credit underwriting.
- Strong analytical skills and knowledge of financial markets and industry trends.
- Solid accounting background with knowledge of financial ratios and statement analysis.
