Centre for Health Research and Innovation (CHRI) is a PATH affiliate in India that aims to create a lasting public health impact across the country. We work on some of the most critical areas of public health including tuberculosis, maternal newborn child health, and nutrition, neglected tropical diseases, malaria and vaccines. Our work is spread across India with communities, healthcare professionals, policymakers, innovators, hospitals, laboratories, and pharmacists to bring about sustainable, scalable, and impactful change in public health.
About the program:
IPE Global manages USAID- supported Partnerships for Affordable Healthcare Access and Longevity (PAHAL) which is a flagship “innovations in financing” platform. The project focuses on innovation financials models that enable Government and Donors in supplementing traditional financing with new forms of conditional and catalytic support; private investments and other non- donor sources of funding for generating social impact. The program promotes health financing models that align new pools of capital and provide catalytic support to proven innovations for improved access to quality, affordable healthcare solutions for poor and vulnerable populations.

To fast-track India’s response to its second, devasting wave of COVID-19 pandemic, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID), has established a healthcare blended financing facility (named as “SAMRIDH”) to support the immediate deployment of high- impact healthcare solutions. Through this initiatives, Scientific Advisor to the Prime Minister’s Office, the National Health Authority, corporate leaders and industry associations, will leverage private sector resources to support scaling up and adoption of market-based health solutions that can address the emergency needs of the pandemic.
About the Opportunity

Role & Responsibilities
- Liaise with key community members, stakeholders, frontline health workers and government health functionaries.
- Timely and accurate collection, collation and reporting of the data..
- Use approved data collection tools (electronic or paper based) and ensure confidentiality of the data and privacy of the respondents.
- Share progress of data collection activities on daily basis and communicate any changes in data collection plan.
- Any additional task assigned by the supervisor.
Education Qualification/Required Skills & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in social work or a related field
- Atleast 2 years’ experience in data collection activities and use of data collection tools in field-based projects.
- Good communication and Inter- personal skills with good spoken English and fluency in Local Language
- Ability to work under set timelines and pressure. Reliability to start and finish assignments on time with the detail needed to satisfy the project criteria.
- Well versed and Comfortable with use of technology – familiarity with Microsoft Office and phone/ tablet based data collection tools.
- Willingness to travel extensively, visit and interact with communities and government health functionaries.
- Ability to multi-task
