About the Organisation

Bask Research is a not-for-profit initiative working on energy and climate governance. Based in Jaipur, we focus on sub-national policy priorities and institutions in the thematic. We strive to achieve transformational change through critical research and democratic dialogues.

Bask Research has been undertaking critical work in electricity governance, clean energy transition, just transition, sustainable agriculture, mobility transitions, climate adaptation, and other related fields.

About the Role

We are looking for a dynamic person who brings on board leadership capabilities in the domain of public policy and communications. The candidate shall be expected to facilitate and manage the convergence of research, advocacy, outreach, and capacity building. The candidate is expected to support project teams and lead the organization’s communication strategy. Excellent editing and publishing skills are desired.

Eligilbity

  • Graduate (minimum) with at least 2-5 years of relevant experience and a proven track record

Job Functions:

  • Development and execution of internal and external community strategy aligned with the organization’s mission and objectives
  • Manage end-to-end development of internal and external collaterals (blogs, newsletters, articles, reports, policy papers, press releases, etc.)
  • Impact communication with internal and external stakeholders
  • Developing and managing media networks, actively amplifying the voice of the organization and its partners
  • Manage all internal communication assets (website, social media, etc.)
  • Engage with research teams to identify specific communications requirements and support project-level communication strategies
  • Support research teams in communication and outreach
  • Plan and execute initiatives to build communication capabilities across the team
  • Develop protocols for internal and external communication and monitor compliance
  • Manage communications team and vendors

Evaluation Process

The evaluation process for the position shall be as below.

  • Round 0: Short-listing of applications
  • Round 1: Personal interview
  • Round 2: Assignment / Exercise
  • Round 3: Personal interview
