 Internship Duration:

  • The duration of the NOAA Global Systems Laboratory/CIRES Summer Research Program
    is 10 weeks for undergraduate students and 12 weeks for graduate students.

Eligibility Criteria for the CIRES Summer Internship 2023:

  • Students of Bachelor’s and Master’s programs can apply.
  • Applicants must be a citizen or permanent resident of the US.
  • They must be willing to make a full-time commitment to the complete internship tenure.
  • Applicants must be able to complete program requirements.
  • Furthermore, they must be interested in participating in environmental and geoscience research.
  • Students from areas where science is underrepresented are encouraged to apply.
  • There is no minimum GPA requirement.
  • To be eligible for this internship, it is not necessary to have any prior experience.
