Chief Minister’s NIPUN Bharat Associates (CMNBA) Program:
CMNBA is a program for dynamic young professionals to work with the Government of Uttar Pradesh to catalyse the implementation of the NIPUN (National Initiative for Proficiency in Reading with Understanding and Numeracy) Bharat Mission, and thereby ensure all 1.91 Crore public school students are proficient in foundational skills by 2025-26.
Under this programme, a dynamic cohort of 150 associates (2 per district) will be placed across the 75 districts of Uttar Pradesh to drive successful implementation of the NIPUN Bharat Mission, and thereby ensure that every primary school student is proficient in foundational literacy and numeracy skills.
CMNBA provides a unique opportunity for young zealous leaders from nation’s best universities to work closely with the district administration to catalyse the implementation of NIPUN and achieve universal foundational literacy and numeracy among 1.91 crore public school students of Grades 1-3 in Uttar Pradesh.
Key Features:
- 150 Associates will be hired, with 2 for each district.
- Stipend: Approximately ₹40,000 per month.
- Duration: Full-time engagement.
Your Role:

Role of CMNBA:
- Collaborate with district administrative leadership to address literacy and numeracy challenges.
- Monitor and enhance progress at district, block, and school levels.
- Develop corrective measures for underperforming blocks/schools in partnership with government stakeholders.
- Tackle daily challenges by collaborating with field officers.
- Conduct workshops to build capacity and mentor field officers.
- Assist government stakeholders in data-driven reviews for quality enhancement.
Eligibility Criteria:
- Indian citizen aged between 22-27 years.
- Proficiency in Hindi and English (oral and written).
- Graduate or post-graduate with a minimum of 60% marks.
- Minimum 1-2 years of full-time work experience.
- Graduation/post-graduation from NIRF top 100 universities/colleges.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Monthly stipend: ₹30,000
- Housing and medical allowance: ₹10,000
- Laptop and pool car provided for district assignments
