About the Program:

Chief Minister’s Good Governance Associates (CMGGA) Programme is a unique collaboration between the Government of Haryana and Ashoka University. Offered as an experiential learning program by Ashoka University, young professionals (Associates) are placed across 22 districts of Haryana, to bring about societal changes on the ground while gaining considerable training and exposure.

Eligibility:

  • Graduate/ Post-Graduate in any discipline with at least 1 year full-time work experience (also applicable for all 5-year professional courses including MBBS, CA)
  • Not more than 28 years of age as on 6th November 2022. (i.e. not born before 6th November 1994)
  • Hold an Indian citizenship
  • Passionate about social change 
  • Proficient in both Hindi and English, with the ability to read and write in both.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively within teams.
  • Proficient in usage of MS Office, particulaty to create presentations, draft documents and edit spreadsheets.
  • Self drive, able to multitask and problem solve to achieve high impact in projects.

Selection Process:

The selection process will be three steps:

  1. Online Application submission: Each applicant will be expected to complete the Online Application form containing information on applicant’s educational background, professional experience and one video-based questions.
  2. Online aptitude test: All eligible candidates will get a three-day window to undergo an Online aptitude test to assess Logical reasoning, Reading comprehension, Verbal Ability and Written communication. 
  3. Personal interview: Shortlisted candidates will be invited for an in-person interview to assess their suitability for the program. 

Perks and Benefits:

  • Stipend: Associates receive a stipend of Rs. 80,000 per month, including Rs. 5,000 for communications and office expenses such as telephone, internet, printing, stationery, etc. Applicable taxes will be deducted at the source from this amount.
    • In addition to the monthly stipend, travel costs will be reimbursed to a maximum of Rs. 35,000 per month.
  • Accommodation will be provided in the assigned district and during official training programs.  
  • Bootcamp: A ~10-day boot camp with a focus on lectures, talks, discussions, workshops, immersive training to provide practical knowledge.
  • Bi-monthly learning forums: Associates spend six to seven weeks in the field in their respective districts, following which they gather together to collate their findings, brainstorm solutions and create presentations to be delivered to the Hon’ble Chief Minister.

Important Dates:

  • Application submission: 7th November-27th November 2022
  • Appearance for Online Aptitude test: 10th-12th December 2022
  • In-Personal interview: Mid January 2023
  • Result announcement: January 2023
  • Program starts: February 2023
  • Fellowship Period: February 2023 – December 2023 (Can be extended by another year on satisfactory performance of the Associate)
