About the Organisation:
TGBL is a business tech enterprise and working on several projects in the sustainability space. We are a driver for change for sustainable development, exploring Green Investments and Sustainable Financing for Ideas that are disruptive in the field of Green Technology, Emerging Technology & Fin-Tech. One of their projects is India’s first Waste to Hydrogen Project based in Pune with Pune Municipal Corporation.
Responsibilities:
- Carry out in-depth research, data mining, analysis, and assessments under multiple aspects of clean energy, sustainable development, climate change and climate resilience, decarbonization goals, and technologies associated with these aspects
- Prepare policy briefs, reports, articles, white papers, funding proposals, etc. within short turnaround times
- Generate/strengthen engagements, partnerships, and collaborations with stakeholders, partners, and collaborators, as needed
- Ability to analyse data, draw conclusions and make practical recommendations based on such analysis.
- Ability to multi-task, maintain flexibility, and be willing to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Assist in implementing cross-sectoral training initiatives
- Assist in research or generate new ideas for cross-sectoral work, as required
- Carry out other miscellaneous tasks simultaneously (like organising meetings, preparing minutes, Liasioning, etc.)
- Financial and pre-feasibility analysis for various proposals, technologies, or projects
- Prepare notes on all aspects of technologies in clean energy and sustainable development, their economic implications and impacts, and possibilities at commercial and industrial scale
- Exploring and engaging with upcoming start-ups, research labs in universities and global technology providers, assess opportunities and potential, and prepare reports and proposals on same to be evaluated for.

Qualification:
- At least 2-3 years of experience working in the industry or with government/research institutions, VC/PE sector in the area of sustainable development, circular economy, climate change, energy and resilience, waste management or other national missions in similar lines
- Subject matter experts (SMEs) with interdisciplinary qualifications or special certifications related to the subject stated above
- Strong passion and acumen towards research and policy enrichment.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and writing skills.
