Job Description:

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting Sales Targets: Fulfill sales charters for cities based on agreed-upon targets, contributing to the expansion of Swiggy’s presence.
  • Contract Negotiation: Sign contracts with restaurants and handle inquiries from both existing and potential new clients.
  • Lead Generation: Actively gather sales leads from the market and approach restaurants for conversion.
  • Relationship Building: Maintain strong relationships with restaurant owners, providing guidance on market-related issues and offering solutions (e.g., discounting strategies, menu enhancements, reducing cancellations).
  • Revenue Growth: Drive revenue growth for Swiggy through strategies such as upselling, cross-selling, investment in ads, and other applicable channels.
  • Sales Reporting: Complete sales reporting activities for Swiggy, including gathering competition intelligence, tracking partner visits, and staying updated on recent city trends.
  • Client Handling: Serve as the first point of contact for potential clients when in the field.

Travel Requirements:

  • The role involves responsibility for multiple cities (typically 1 to 5) and requires travel for approximately 12-15 days per month to the assigned cities.

Desired Skills:

  • Educational Background: Graduates or Post Graduates with 0-6 months of sales experience or freshers.
  • Industry Knowledge: Understanding of e-commerce activities or familiarity with the food delivery industry is a plus (not mandatory).
  • Communication: Confident and pleasing personality with average English communication skills and mandatory effective local language skills.
  • Numerical Skills: Basic numerical skills, including an understanding of concepts like growth and degrowth.
  • Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Self-Motivated: Driven by targets and self-motivated to achieve goals.
  • Tech Savvy: Knowledge of MS Office or a similar suite is a plus.
