Ashraya’s integrated 3-program model (Education, Health and Community Sustainability) is designed to meet immediate, individual-level needs while also providing scope for long-term growth and community development.
We work with two of the poorest, most uniquely marginalized communities in Pune and aspire to help transform these communities from the ground up within a single generation.
Since 2005, Ashraya has enrolled and supported the education of hundreds of out-of-school children from the streets and slums. Since 2019, Ashraya has adopted experiential and project based learning methods and pedagogy.
About the Opportunity
Ashraya is looking for a Fundraising and Communications Associate, who will support the team locally from Pune for fundraising outreach and communications.
This is a full time onsite position reporting to the Director, Partnerships and as an Associate, you are expected to contribute to reaching Ashraya’s fundraising goals.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
- Communicating with sponsors and sending them updates regarding Ashraya’s work in Pune.
- Assist in making a fundraising plan for Ashraya.
- Hosting and coordinating sponsor meet and greets.
- Documenting quantitative and qualitative case stories of the programs.
- Organizing and conducting fundraising campaigns for Ashraya.
- Creating sponsorship networks through existing and potential sponsors.
- Grant research and writing assistance.
- Content writing and data collection for sponsorship updates.
- Designing marketing and promotional content for Ashraya.
- Increasing social media outreach and content regarding day to day activities.
- Creating a social media calendar and capturing data at all events of Ashraya.
Education and Qualifications:
- Graduate in any stream.
- Freshers are encouraged.
- Fluent in English and Hindi.
- Experience with working in a non-profit is preferred.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
