About the Organisation:
Dhwani Rural Information Systems (Dhwani RIS) is a Delhi NCR-based tech advisory and consulting firm focused on the social and development sectors. With a robust team of 150+ ICT4D professionals, Dhwani RIS develops IT applications for Non-Governmental Organisations (NGOs), government functionaries, Corporate Social Responsibilities (CSRs), international funding organizations, and others to manage their projects and programs in India and abroad.
About the Opportunity:
The Tech4Good Fellowship is a collaboration between Dhwani RIS and Azim Premji Foundation (APF), a program designed to empower individuals to apply their technical skills for social impact. As a Tech4Good analyst, your responsibilities would revolve around navigating the development and deployment of organization level technology solutions for the Non-Governmental Organizations (NGOs) working to address the entitlement related challenges of migrants.
Eligibility Criteria:
- A minimum of bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (economics, statistics, computer science, social development, engineering)
- 3 months – 2 years of experience in a work environment (start-up, corporate). Work experience in NGOs, CSRs, social impact, consulting organizations would be most ideal.
Roles and Responsibilities:
- Tech exploration and rapport building: Exploratory tech discovery and solutioning calls between the Dhwani team and select NGOs
- Product development: Build a product to manage the program requirements of the NGOs working towards entitlement benefits of migrants.
- Implementation: The fellow will work with the NGO to further deploy the Frappe product and support the testing, implementation and roll-out of the application.
- Maintenance and way forward: The fellow will provide support to the NGOs in the tech adoption and roll-out
