About Mereka
Mereka was founded in 2017 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia by the Biji-biji Group. We are recognized as an education technology provider which encompasses real-world applications, introduction and adoption of digital technology, and environmental and social governance (ESG). We serve international development agencies, foreign and local government agencies, corporate foundations, corporate clients, schools, and education institutions by designing and implementing in-depth and low-touch training programs for individual learners and organizations. Our programs, spaces, and digital platform inspire, equip and support game-changers and disruptors who will lead the next generation of companies, industries, and economies.

Who and what are we looking for?
- Master’s and Bachelor’s degree students or graduates. All others with relevant expertise are encouraged to apply
- Experienced in working with relevant independent projects preferred. Diploma holders are welcome to apply if you demonstrate/show your independent projects.
- Able to commit a minimum of 3 months or a maximum of 6 months internship
- The latest CGPA is 2.8 and above. Your CGPA will not be the defining factor in this decision. However, it is still a baseline indicator.
- For Marketing & Communications – demonstrates a compelling portfolio showcasing past work. This is required!
- Must be able to communicate in a clear and engaging manner
- A hustler, critical and creative thinker, and with a can-do attitude.
- Self-starter, independent, and enjoys collaborating with others
- Good academic results and exemplary co-curricular involvements
- Proficient in reading, writing, and speaking English.
- Committed to showing your passion and enthusiasm, and sharing your professional background and work experience through CVs and Portfolio (if any).
- You are motivated by the organization’s mission and working culture.
Duration & Stipend
- We prefer 3-month up to 6-month full-time internship to gain practical and valuable work experience that grants you the opportunity for personal and professional growth.
- The programme allowance is RM800 (Rs.14,000) per month

- You will receive an internship certificate at the end of your 3-6 months internship and have access to network with the teams, participate in progressive real-world projects, join exclusive informational sessions with senior leaders, and expand mentorship opportunities and career development.
