About the Role

  • Location: Noida, Uttar Pradesh
  • Reports to: Head – Skills & Employability

Overview & Key Responsibilities:

Nasscom Foundation’s ‘Skills Initiative’ is committed to addressing the skilling gap in the Indian IT industry. We collaborate closely with the IT Sector Skills Council – Nasscom SSC and assist donor organizations in various aspects of skills-based CSR intervention. Our goal is to equip individuals with a diverse skill set, including digital and financial skills, with a special focus on technology.

As a key member of our team, you will manage the placement of beneficiaries enrolled in Nasscom Foundation’s skilling programs. Your responsibilities include:

  • Coordinating and supporting partners for placements.
  • Connecting beneficiaries with potential employers and ensuring successful job placements.
  • Establishing tie-ups with key employers and generating placement opportunities.
  • Conducting region-specific pre-placement activities and career guidance sessions.
  • Organizing placement drives.
  • Initiating the Hire and Train model in specific locations.
  • Scheduling and following up on candidate interviews.
  • Maintaining an employer database and candidates’ profiles.
  • Collaborating on Career Planning services promotion.
  • Traveling to the field as required.
  • Handling other cross-functional initiatives as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field (Education, Business, or Human Resources preferred).
  • Four or more years of previous experience in placement or HR roles, preferably in the skilling domain.
  • Exposure to placement in the IT sector is advantageous.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for building relationships with candidates and employers.
  • Knowledge of job search strategies and resume writing techniques.
  • Strong organizational skills for multitasking.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and relevant software.
