Quest Alliance is looking for a Data and Tech Associate to coordinate all M&E, Data and Tech-related activities of the region. You will be reaching out to all the stakeholders in the region and will be responsible for supporting smooth implementation of the program.
Responsibilities:
M&E and Data Management –
- Working closely with state team to ensure error-free data on the admin panel
- Working closely with the M&E team to ensure accurate data presentation on dashboards.
- Building partner’s capacity on data input tools and admin panels.
- Orienting and supporting internal team members such as regional program team members, Interns on data SoP.
- Supporting regional and project teams to collate required data for reporting.
- Ensure and support Baseline, endline or any data collection for the team
- Support any research activities, program or project evaluation, impact assessment etc.

Tech Support
Master Coach for teachers and Student facing digital content on QUESTApp (Learning App)
- Troubleshooting Technical issues related to QUESTApp/Change Leaders/ whatsapp bot platform, hardware, and networking at the site.
- Following SOP to register/modify/de-register users on QUESTApp with required privileges for different categories of users – Organization, School, batch, facilitator/teacher, and student/learner management
- Support pilot testing and implementation in the respective region
- Working closely with internal and external parties along with the team to build capacity on QUESTApp/Change leaders platform features and management.
- Chatbot Management & Support
- New content upload
- Maintenance of teacher/student facing chatbot
- Bug reporting and resolution
- Ensure data stream pipeline readiness as per agreed MnE framework, which can then be ported for ETL(extract transform and load) and visualization
- Interactive Voice Response System(IVRS)
- Ensure 100% uptime of the portal
- Date pipeline readiness for visualization and reporting purposes.
- Assembling, and furbishing learn pi (Raspberry pi) devices for deployment, including and not limited to software tech support, burning images etc
- Extending support to QA team members to set up IT labs at project sites.
- Guiding NGO partners on troubleshooting Tech related issues.
- Address issues that are logged via a ticketing system and ensure resolution within agreed SLA.
- Preparing installation manuals and guides for the partner stakeholders to install the software or the programme in the computer systems of the schools.
- Create a database of vendors for facilitating IT audits, laptops rentals and other IT material provision.
Requirements
Qualifications
- Proficiency in handling worksheets and databases.
- Proficiency in managing applications front and backend admin panels.
- Excellent IT skills and Hands-on experience on coding
- Is excited about the opportunity to integrate technology into education and other allied areas
- Willingness to travel extensively
- Must have – Basic Knowledge of HTML5, CSS, PHP and JavaScript
- Knowledge of Raspberry Pi board and Raspbian OS Knowledge in MySQL database management
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other teams
- Good to have – Skills in GNU/Linux (Ubuntu and Debian) server management and experience in using Linux bash commands and Cron jobs
- Proficiency in troubleshooting Software, hardware, and network issues.
- Experience in data visualization and relevant skills will be added value.
- Good communication skills in English and Kannada.
- The candidate should be flexible, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and an energetic team player
