About the Organisation
Aga Khan Rural Support Programe (India) is a non-denominational, non-government organization. AKRSP(I) was established in Gujrat in 1984 and it seek to contribute to rural poverty reduction through community involvement and empowerment that leads to the efficient management and improved the productivity of natural resources.
AKRSP(I) is looking for a full-time Coordinator to co-ordinate the course on Women’s Land Right with technical partnership WGWLO (Working Group for Women and Land Ownership) with to be conducted for the network and coordinate within and outside the network related to the course. The coordinator is supported in her/his role by the secretariat team, thematic groups, and board as well as resource group.

Eligibility
- Qualification: Postgraduate in Rural management/Natural Resource Management/Social Sciences/Agriculture Management or any other related field
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the development sector, excellent conceptual and writing skills and ability to manage a team. Preference for a person having academic experience of conducting a course. This will be a one-year contractual appointment.
Roles and Responsibilities
Your specific roles as a Coordinator would be:
- Coordination for the course conducting and activities related to this course. Coordination with Wgwlo members, with resource persons, with participants; financial and admin coordination; sharing with network members, thematic group and board.
- Coordinating with the group formed in the network and creating course curriculum development.
- Scheduling sessions and reporting along with organizing course related interactions with other platforms
- Curriculum development – sessions, special webinars, participant engagement, post, content generation, pedagogy development, identifying resource material, and assessment. Coordinating the Content development with resource person and creating session material, session delivery, post session guidance, assessment
- Follow-up and Participants enrolment, follow-up support
- Technical support – course delivery, instructor support and participant support
- Involved in social media – course announcement, outreach
- Managing digital and online platforms for the course
Salary:
- Based on qualifications and experience. Approx 4.2 lakh per annum.
