About the Internship Opportunity

YCM India is inviting applications from eligible law students for a remote internship position with the Chief of Staff.

Assistant to the Chief of Staff: In this Internship, you work with the Chief of Staff and get an opportunity to receive mentorship from the founder of the organization.

Roles

  • Visibility and networking at an international and national level with leading firms/organizations/universities in mediation and dispute resolution across the globe.
  • Assist the Chief of Staff directly in his day-to-day tasks and work
  • Assist YCM with its chapters and collaborations across the educational institutes in India and abroad (Jindal Global University, IFIM, RGNUL, and Warwick University UK)
  • Strategize with the Chief of Staff to find growth opportunities for YCM and fill in the gaps through innovative thinking.
  • Assist in YCM’s training programs and impact analysis
  • Assist the Chief of Staff in networking and communicating with national and international stakeholders (internal and external experts in the field)
  • Standardize processes and optimize work procedures and other procedures at YCM
  • Engage with top professionals in the field of mediation and beyond by conducting one-on-one interviews which will be widely published on social media.
  • Come up with unique proposals by researching mediation and dispute prevention. Top-quality research will be published on YCM’s blog and social media.
  • Assist in YCM’s training programs for law students and professionals. Mediate and roleplay parties in YCM sessions. Keep track of trainees’ and interns’ registrations, prework, and homework.
  • Assist the team with conducting conflict management addas across different educational institutes in India.
  • Do mock mediations for YCM’s YouTube channel
  • Brainstorming with the team for new strategies for collaboration and growth
  • Create social media campaigns and strategies, including budget planning, content ideation, and implementation schedules
  • Create a systematic, process-driven approach to partner outreach and relationship management
  • Forecast, measure, and report the results of various projects with partners, including co-created and/or co-branded content promotions, lead sharing, and/or event partnerships

Required Qualifications

  • Passionate law student who is in the 2nd, or 3rd year of their course 5-year course or 1st or 2nd year of their 3-year course.
  • Experience in Negotiation or Mediation or Dispute Resolution through training or courses or competitions (preferred but not mandatory)
  • Highly organized and structured with attention to detail
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Out of the box thinking and problem-solving attitude
  • Superb with time management and stakeholder management

Stipend
