GuruJal Society under District Administration Gurugram is an integrated water management initiative, which aims to address the issues of water scarcity, groundwater depletion, flooding and stagnation in the Gurugram District of Haryana. The GuruJal Model is based on a Public- Private-Partnership (PPP) model within the Government unit to leverage the maximum accountability of all the concerned stakeholders dealing in the water sector within the District of Gurugram and allows for the enforcement and compliance of water mandates.

Internship program offer a wide range of opportunities for graduate and post graduate students to gain insight in the technical and administrative programme of GuruJal while enriching their knowledge and experience in the water management field. We strongly encourage interns to our work as a collective as we believe is the best way to cater to environmental issues like water conservation and mismanagement.

Biodiversity Planning Intern
- Qualification: Masters in Botany/ Environmental Science
- Skill Required:Knowledge of plantation technique, Field survey experience, Taxonomy knowledge, Good data analytical knowledge, Research based documentation
- **Prior field experience in gardening, herbarium or forest survey will get prior preference
Media and Communication Intern
- Qualification: BA in Media and Communication
- Skills Required:Creative and innovative thinker, Good Communication skills, Report writing, presentation and communication skills, Good Content writing skills, Campaign designing and creative ideas,In – depth working knowledge of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn l Experience in social–media marketing
- **Wildlife photography skill will add value to the profile
Graphic Designer Intern
- Qualification: Diploma in Graphic designing, understanding of Graphic Designing tools.
- Skills Required:Creative and Innovative Skills, Basic knowledge of layouts, typography, line composition, color, and other graphic design fundamentals, Experience with in Design, Adobe Photoshop, and Illustrator l Sound Communications skills, Critical thinking, IT Skills, Knowledge of HTML, CSS, Photoshop etc.,
- Knowledge with animation or video making.
Content Writer Intern
- Qualification: Bachelor degree in English / Journalism
- Skills Required:Conducting in-depth research, Excellent writing skills for report/ blog/ article, Creative thinking and translation into thoughtful writing process
- **Prior article/ blog writing on social media/writing platform will be add value to the profile
Research and Development- Policy Intern
- Qualification – Master’s in Public Administration/Political Science/Development Policy
- Skills Required:Knowledge of Policy Making Process in Indian Government, Excellent Research and Documentation Skills, Excellent analytical skills and pattern detection skills, Report-writing/Scientific Writing Skills
- ** Prior experience working in a governmental setup would be given preference.
Research and Development- Technical Intern
- Qualification: Masters in Chemistry/Biology/Environmental Science
- Skills Required:Thorough knowledge of laboratory techniques for determination of water quality, Excellent Research and Documentation Skills, Knowledge of Wastewater/Water Treatment Technologies, Excellent analytical skills and pattern detection skills, Report-writing/Scientific Writing Skills
- ** Prior publications and laboratory work with application made would be given preference.
Location
- Base Office Location: Mini Secretariat, near Rajiv Chowk, Gurugram

Commitment Expected
