About the Organisation

The Intelligence Bureau is India’s domestic internal security and counter-intelligence agency under Ministry of Home Affairs. It was founded in 1887 as Central Special Branch, and is reputed to be the oldest such organization in the world

Eligibility

Qualification

• Candidates should possess BE, B.Tech, Master Degree

Age Limit as on 07-05-2022

• Minimum Age: 18 Years
• Maximum Age: 27 Years
• Age relaxation is applicable for SC/ ST/ OBC candidates as per rules

Salary

• The pay scale of Assistant Central Intelligence Officer Grade-II/ Technical in the Intelligence Bureau is Rs 44,900/- Rs 1,42,400/- & Central Govt Allowance. 
• (i) Special Security Allowance @20% of basic pay in addition to other govt. allowances
• (ii) Cash compensation in lieu of duty performed on holidays subject to a ceiling of 30 days.
