About the Job Opportunity
The person is this role will be contributing to all analytics deployment for Star’s Marketing spends. Role entails executing marketing analytics projects and providing actionable insights/ recommendations to respective business units.
We are looking for someone with analytics & quantitative bent of mind with a clear understanding of Marketing function.
Roles and Responsibilities
Listed below are key planned/ongoing analytics projects wrt Marketing spends – both Media and Non-Media across business units:
Media
- Marketing ROI of Media spends for Star business units
- Communication effectiveness scorecard to reduce inefficiencies in promo airing & utilization – Ongoing project across GEC, Regional and Sports BU
- Impactful Launch success framework – Recommendations for successful launches with optimal support
- Marketing Impact – Devise integrated ROI metric for measurement; ROI dashboard to visualise the performance metrics across Business units
- Benchmarking for Media spends across Star Business units
- Rate benchmarking analysis across media to drive Cost savings
- Campaign plans benchmarking to deliver savings by leveraging benchmarks created
- OOH planning – Rate benchmarking analytics factoring site quality measures to develop Quality Rating point (QRP) benchmarks for OOH plan
Non-Media
- Analytics support to ongoing projects led by the P&I team
- Machine analysis for cutting wastage
- Communication efficacy mapping
- Framework to quantify and measure creative efficacy of Communication
- Integrated measure of Celebrity Buzz
- Framework to analyse & measure factors driving celebrity buzz across platforms
Eligibility
- MBA with Marketing specialization
- Media Industry experience in Strategy or Research function
Knowledge and Skills
- Strong Analytical skills

- Ability to bring method to unstructured tasks
- Strong project management skills, to take ideas through to the delivery stage
